I have co-authored and/or edited academic papers on a variety of topics, mostly relating to engineering and biomechanics.
An example titled “Prognostic Issues for Rotorcraft Health and Usage Monitoring Systems” by G. William Nickerson, Carl Byington and Sue George from the 51st meeting of the MFPT Society in 1997 is below.
Another example is “The Role of Axial Loading in Malleolar Fractures” by J. Funk, L. Tourret, Sue George and J. Crandall and published in SAE Transactions: Journal of Passenger Cars in 2000. The work is based upon Sue George’s Masters thesis.
Two more examples include:
“The Interaction of Airbags with Upper Extremity Test Devices” by C. Bass, S. Duma, J. Crandall, R. Morris, Sue George, S. Kuppa, N. Khaewpong, E. Sun and R. Eppinger, presented at the Proceedings of the 16th International Technical Conference on the Enhanced Safety of Vehicles in 1998.
“Comparison of upper extremity test devices for the evaluation of frontal air bags” by C. Bass, S. Duma, J. Crandall, Sue George, S. Kuppa, N. Khaewpong, E. Sun, and R. Eppinger published by the Journal of Automobile Engineering, Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in 2002.
